Neurotoxin Injection
Learn to treat the top 3 areas (Frontalis, 11 lines and Crow's Feet) with neurotoxin and an additional 5 areas including the Lip Flip, Gummy Smile, Masseter and more! Learn proper depth of injection for each area to prevent negative effects.
Describe FDA on-label and off-label uses for each FDA approved neurotoxin, describe how neurotoxin is metabolized, it's duration of action, how to store the product, and different dilution ratio's to reconstitute the product.
Facial Anatomy
Identify several facial muscles and learn which muscles are elevators, depressors or sphincter type. Identify insertion and origin points of muscles and how this relates to neurotoxin treatment.
Identify different muscle movement patterns and how to treat properly, as not every client has the same pattern of muscle movement!
Identify areas of the face that should not be injected and how to take necessary precautions for optimal results.
Consultation & Documentation
Conduct a full consultation and assessment. JennMarie NP teaches her students how to palpate facial muscles for thorough assessment prior to treatment. Review consent forms. Explain contraindications, precautions, pre and post care instructions.
Explain proper management of complications associated with neurotoxin injection. Discuss supplies used to prep and treat with neurotoxin. Describe, discuss and demonstrate proper reconstitution of product and novice injection techniques of neurotoxin.
Hi, I’m JennMarie
I am a Board Certified, FPA Nurse Practitioner, with a background in acute and critical care. I worked as an ICU Nurse Practitioner for several years prior to starting my Medspa. During the pandemic, I returned to the ICU to assist with ventilator management and caring for those with Covid-19.
I have trained inside the US and internationally over the years and noticed a gap in training. Therefore, I took the time over the past couple of years to create a comprehensive course that closes the gap and provides every new aesthetic injector with the knowledge and experience needed to start injecting safely and with quality results.
Our online neurotoxin training has been approved by the ONA an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). After completing the online and hands on portion of the course, students will be awarded a total of 10 CE hours, which includes 1.5 CE pharmacology hours.
JennMarie Medspa Neurotoxin Online Training Part 1 is didactic and completed 100% online. After completing Part 1, all students are to reach out to JennMarie to schedule Part 2, which is completed at JennMarie Medspa in Schaumburg, IL. In addition, JennMarie NP offers a payment plan and has no hidden costs or fees!
